Landing Page vs Sales Page
The terms overlap, but sales pages usually ask for a purchase while landing pages cover a wider range of conversion goals.
Editorial note: Product pricing and feature packaging can change. Commercial claims here are based on public vendor materials checked during the August 2026 site build; verify live plan details before purchasing.
Bottom line
A lead-capture page, webinar registration page and demo-request page are all landing pages even though none necessarily closes a sale on-page.
What matters
A sales page usually needs enough argument, proof, objection handling and purchase mechanics to support a buying decision. That can make it longer and more persuasive than a simple lead-capture page.
How to decide or apply this
Choose the structure from the conversion goal, traffic temperature and offer complexity—not from an arbitrary word-count rule.
